Day 1

Depending on starting point we have a hotel pick up before we drive around 70 km to the entrance of the park, along the way we will be passing one of the largest mines in Bolivia (Muntun) something that threatens the very survival of the park. Here we will meet the Park rangers and present previously arranged permits and paperwork before continuing to enter the park, along the way we will keep an eye out for a large abundance of wildlife which present excellent photographic opportunities. Around 1230 we will set up camp and have a freshly prepared lunch.

In the evening we will start peak hour drive where we will be looking from everything from Giant Otters through to Anacondas and Jaguars, if we are really lucky we can even catch a glimpse of the endangered Maned Wolf which resides in this National Park. Dinner and rest.

Day 2

Early start, here we will do a peak hour wildlife drive/walk with a focus on Anacondas, we will return to the camp for breakfast, we will partake in a bit of piranha fishing before packing up our camping equipment and departing the National Park after lunch, have the camera ready as the long drive out of the park often produces excellent wildlife sightings. We will return to your hotel in the evening.

Day 2: Utuquis National Park to Tres Gigantes Bioligical Station

Early Morning wildlife drive/ walk before breakfast and a 40 minute boat ride along the Rio Paraguay and Rio Negro, once we have arrived we will unpack and settle into our accommodation and have a freshly prepared lunch, in the afternoon we will partake on treks of the area observing the areas flora and fauna.

Dinner then a night walk in the areas walking trails again with a focus on looking for wildlife.

Day 3: Tres Gigantes Bioligical Station/Utuquis/Puerto Suarez

Early morning walk before breakfast and departure from the lodge, we commence the scenic boat trip back to Utuquis National Park where our driver and transportation will be awaiting us, we will slowly drive the 80 km through the park keeping an eye out for the parks flora and fauna before arriving Puerto Suarez for lunch and then to your hotel.
