PANTANAL JUST JAGUAR SAFARI 4 DAYS

If you want to see the majestic Jaguar in the wild then the North Pantanal is the only real option where you are literally guaranteed to see these incredible big cats. This unbelievable location is in the heart of the world’s largest Wetlands and is the area with the highest density of these big cats in the world.

This 4 day/3 night Jaguar tour has a primary focus on having encounters with Jaguars and with the help of expert guides you explore this region. Not only do tourists see Jaguars here, often lucky tourists get the chance to see Jaguars hunting, mating and even swimming across rivers. Such incredible behaviour has been featured in many National Geographic documentaries.

In addition to Jaguars, you still have excellent opportunities to see Anaconda, Tapir, Giant Otters, Capybara, Hyacinth Macaws and literally hundreds of bird species.

DAY 1

DAY 1 CUIABA – PANTANAL JAGUAR CAMP AND JAGUAR SAFARI

Hotel pick up at Cuiabá in the early morning then we begin our transfer to the Pantanal. We enter the Pantanal via the incredible Transpantaneira Road and this drive offers stunning fauna and flora viewing opportunities. Anything from Giant Anteaters, Armadillos, Anacondas and even Jaguars can be seen on this road so don’t put the camera down for an instant. Arrival at the lodge for a freshly prepared lunch and check-in.

In the early afternoon we commence our search for the Jaguar, in the world’s best location. With the help of our exclusive Jaguar searching boat our expert boatman and guide will be searching for all kinds of wildlife, but with main focus on jaguars and river otters. DAY 2

DAY 2 FULL DAY JAGUAR WATCHING SAFARI

An early breakfast is followed by a boat ride in the best area in the world for jaguar spotting. With luck we can have close up encounters of the Western Hemispheres largest big cat. We return to camp for lunch and in the afternoon return to the river to look for more Jaguar activity. In this location we can also expect to see Giant Otters, Capybara, Howler Monkeys and hundreds of other bird species as well.

We return to accommodations after sunset. The Pantanal is famous for its dramatic sunsets – a photographer’s paradise. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. (BLD)

DAY 3

DAY 3: FULL DAY DEDICATED TO JAGUAR SEARCHING

Today, after breakfast, our boat ride will take you traveling further up the Cuiabá River. Most of the day will be spent in exploring this remote region which is excellent for wildlife and nature observation. A break for lunch will be accompanied by another river safari on the boat looking for the mighty big cat and other interesting wildlife. Return to the lodge at sunset in time to hopefully see the Hyacinth Macaws in the trees. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. (BLD)

DAY 4

DAY 4 JAGUAR CAMP – RETURN TO CUIABA

After an early breakfast, our last river safari on a great location with the highest density of jaguars and jaguar sightings on the planet. After lunch we depart the camp via the incredible Transpantaneira Road, this will be our last chance to observe wildlife which we may have missed. We transfer to Cuiaba. Drop off at the airport or city hotel depending on client’s preference.
