TOUR OUTLINE

Our first destination on the tour is the rarely visited Kaa Iya National Park, internationally famous for its population of Jaguars this park remains one of the best places in the planet to observe these incredible animals often without another tourist in sight, while the main focus of this tour is to look for Jaguar’s, we also have excellent chances to see Tapirs, Pumas, Jaguarundis, Armadillos, Ocelots, Titi Monkeys and much more, as the park is very remote and infrequently visited it provides nature lovers some of the best wildlife viewing opportunity’s found anywhere in the world. This tour is more of a wildlife safari and our guides who are experts in this region will take you on night spotlighting drives, treks, staking out lagoons, setting up and checking camera traps and searching for these elusive species. Birding here is excellent and generally we record over 100 species per tour as well.

The 2nd Part of our trip we stop overnight in the town of Santiago de Chiquitos, this is one of the most beautiful regions in Bolivia and in the evening we have the chance to visit an incredible Mirador where giant rock formations overlook the incredible protected area of Reserva de Tucavaca, if we are lucky we will see the huge flocks of colourful Macaws which frequent the forests and rock outcrops.

Our last stop takes you to the impressive Bolivian Pantanal, which is part of the world’s largest Wetland system. This area is home to a huge variety of wildlife and includes stable populations of Maned Wolves, Jaguars, Giant Otters, Marsh Deer, Capybara, Pumas, Spectacled Caimans and the impressive Yellow Anaconda.

I have done two different tours with Nick's Adventures Bolivia and both were excellent. One of them was going to Kaa-Iya National Park.It was absolutely amazing. We saw lots of birds, turtles, amphibians, armadillos, foxes, monkeys, deer, several tapirs and - wow - a jaguar! What an amazing experience, it was sitting right next to the road.

The second tour I did with some friends was a wildlife tour around Santa Cruz. We were surprised to see so much wildlife that close to the city. We were lucky enough to see different types of monkeys, birds, a turtle and a sloth. It was a great day.

Nick is a very passionate guide and full of information. It seems like there is nothing he doesn't know. He and Carolina do a great job and can also give you lots of information about other parts of Bolivia. What makes it all even better is that, using their service, you support them in their conservation work.

Thanks a lot for everything!

I spent, at first, one afternoon in Lomas de arena, which was amazing trip, we saw some animals and we also had the chance to see the sunset over the dunes of the park! It was simply amazing.
Besides, i had the chance to go with Nick and Carolina to the national Park Kaa-iya! It was and amazing experience, we saw 3 jaguars in 3 days! But not only this, also monkeys, toucans, turtles, lot of different birds... and one of the jaguars we saw, we did it for several minutes!
As i have said, amazing experiences and really good people!!
Thanks for everything!
