PALCA CANYON AND VALLEY DE ANIMAS FULL DAY TOUR

Hotel pick up and we commence our journey on route to the incredible Palca Canyon. We pass by the southern zone of La Paz, home to the countries elite and wealthy as can be seen by the change in housing and infrastructure.

Our first stop is the impressive Valle de Animas or Valley of the Souls. These impressive geological formations were named by locals who thought the jagged rocks resembled petrified souls. Our guide will explain the formations of this fragile yet spectacular area and you have time to take photos and explore.

Our next visit is Palca Caynon, an area of incredible natural beauty. Palca caynon was formed by winds and rain over thousands of years and provides some of the most breathtaking and dramatic scenery in Bolivia. We have time here to hike and explore the canyon and our guide will explain in detail and also help with photo opportunities especially with the 15,000 feet Illamani Mountain in the backdrop.

We enjoy a lunch and stop by our final attraction of the trip the Muela del Diablo, this viewpoint offers a spectacular view of the area. We drop you to your hotel with your cameras full of pictures and memories of this wonderful and non-touristic paradise.
