San Miguelito Jaguar Reserve and Pantanal Package

DAY 2: Full Day San Miguelito Jaguar Reserve
Early breakfast before a morning 4WD Safari drive to the San Julian river, this is our best chance for wildlife, here we navigate by boat the river keeping an eye out for Jaguars, Ocelots, Tapirs, Caimans and many other animals which frequent this river system. Lunch and afternoon drive or trek. Dinner and option Night drive.

DAY 3 SAN MIGUELITO – San Jose de Chiquitos – Puerto Suarez
Early morning breakfast and another 4WD trip/Hike of the Reserve, along the way we will be checking the properties camera traps to see which animals have been in the area. Return to the lodge to pack up and we say goodbye to this amazing property on route for the next adventure. We have a 3 hour drive to the Jesuit Mission Town of San Jose where we will have lunch and brief stop at the World heritage listed Church as well before continuing on to the border of the Pantanal, Puerto Suarez where we have dinner and retire for the night.

Day 4 PUERTO SUAREZ –OTUQUIS NATIONAL PARK
Early check out and we drive towards the entrance of the Bolivian Pantanal (Otuquis National Park) keep the camera ready as this Park is teeming with wildlife. In the morning we will be looking for Marsh Deer, Anacondas, Capybara, Caiman and literally thousands of birds which frequent this park, if we are lucky we can also catch sightings of resident Giant otters, Maned Wolves and even Jaguars. Lunch and we have more wildlife safaris and Dinner. Overnight in the National Park.

DAY 5 OTUQUIS NATIONAL PARK – PUERTO SUAREZ
Breakfast and peak hour wildlife /bird watching safari, again we will be focusing on looking for Anacondas, Marsh Deer, Giant Otters and the hundreds of species which call this National Park home, lunch before departing the Park in the evening and return to our hotel in Puerto Suarez.

DAY 6 PUERTO SUAREZ –SANTIAGO DE CHIQUITOS- MIRADOR OF VALLEY DE TUCUVACA – SANTA CRUZ
Early morning buffet breakfast before departing Puerto Suarez, we arrive to Santiago de Chiquitos for lunch and have a few hours to climb and explore the protected area of Valley de Tucavaca. Here we can marvel at the thousands of hectares of pristine forests and see one of the most beautiful lookouts in all of South America. Return to Santa Cruz in the evening with a camera full of amazing pictures and memories which will last a lifetime.
