Why Bolivia

One Country.
Unmissable Destinations.

Bolivia is South America’s most biodiverse country — and one of its least explored. From the world’s largest salt flat to the Amazon’s jaguar corridors, every destination offers something genuinely unlike anywhere else on Earth.

Nick’s Adventures Bolivia operates expert-led, small-group tours across all major regions. Every itinerary is private, departure dates are flexible, and all guides are English-speaking naturalists with deep local knowledge.

Why Nick’s Adventures

What Makes Us Different

We’re not a booking platform — we’re an operator that has been running in-person tours since 2003, with Nick personally involved in every itinerary.

Local Expert Access

Every destination we operate in, we've been visiting for years. Our guides know the best spots, the right timing, and the local contacts no app can replicate.

Multi-Destination Itineraries

Bolivia's regions are best combined. We design seamless itineraries — Amazon + Salt Flats, Jaguarland + Cloud Forest — tailored to your timeframe.

Available 24/7

Our team is reachable by WhatsApp throughout your trip. Whether you need a logistics change or have a question on the trail, we respond within the hour.

All Logistics Handled

Domestic flights, transfers, accommodation, park permits — everything is pre-arranged. You arrive in Bolivia and we take care of the rest.

Photography-Optimised

Early starts, optimal positioning, and patience. Our guides understand what photographers need and plan every outing to maximise your golden hour.

Conservation-Minded

A portion of every tour contributes to the Jaguar Conservation Project in Kaa Iya National Park. We travel responsibly and leave every ecosystem better than we found it.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Planning a Bolivia trip? We’ve answered the most common questions below.

For first-time visitors, we recommend combining Santa Cruz + Jaguarland Reserve for wildlife, or La Paz + Uyuni Salt Flats for landscapes. Both work in 5–8 days and connect via domestic flights. With two weeks, we can combine all four.

Absolutely — multi-destination itineraries are our specialty. Bolivia’s domestic flight network connects most cities in under 2 hours, and in 10–14 days you can comfortably visit 2–3 regions. We handle all internal transfers, logistics, and accommodation.

Jaguarland Reserve (Bolivia) is more remote, with smaller groups and a wilder feel. South Pantanal (Brazil) — particularly Porto Jofre — is considered the highest jaguar density zone on Earth, with boat-based sightings along the Cuiabá River. We operate combined Bolivia + Brazil itineraries for photographers who want both.

Top three: Jaguarland Reserve (jaguar, caiman, capybara — Bolivia Pantanal), South Pantanal, Brasil (jaguars from river boats — unmatched access), and Rurrenabaque / Amazon (macaws, monkeys, river dolphins). Sajama is exceptional for high-altitude species: vicuña, flamingos, Andean condor.

The dry season (May–October) is ideal for Jaguarland, South Pantanal, Uyuni, Samaipata, and trekking. Rurrenabaque / Amazon is good year-round. Uyuni’s mirror effect requires rain — January to March is best for that iconic reflection shot.
