Departing early from Sucre, this private birdwatching day tour heads into the valleys around the Río Chico and the mountains near the Monte Willca protected area — one of the best birding areas in Bolivia. As the route descends from Sucre into warmer lower valleys, the habitat changes, offering the chance to spot parakeets and, at times, Amazon Parrots.
The main goal of the day is the endemic Red-Fronted Macaw — one of the rarest parrots in the world.
