This immersive experience takes you from the dazzling white expanse of the Salar to high-altitude deserts, colourful lagoons, volcanic landscapes, giant cacti, and dramatic Andean scenery. Along the way, discover Incahuasi Island, Galaxy Cave, Laguna Colorada, Sol de Mañana, and Laguna Verde, while staying in carefully selected accommodation in the remote highlands.
Your journey begins with a visit to Colchani, a small village known for its traditional salt processing.
Continue across the vast Uyuni Salt Flats to Incahuasi Island, located in the heart of the salt desert and famous for its impressive giant cacti and unique ecosystem.
After lunch on the island, continue your exploration, passing by Campana Island and visiting the Galaxy Cave, where you can admire remarkable lava formations created millions of years ago when volcanic lava came into contact with water.
Continue your journey to San Pedro de Quemes, where you will check in and enjoy dinner at your Stone Hotel.
After breakfast, visit the spectacular Stone Tree, followed by a scenic journey through a succession of high-altitude lagoons and dramatic desert landscapes surrounded by sand and volcanic rock.
Continue to Laguna Colorada (Red Lagoon), named for the intense reddish colour of its waters and home to several species of flamingos.
Visit the Sol de Mañana geothermal area, where you can observe steaming fumaroles, volcanic gases, and bubbling geothermal pools.
After lunch, continue to Laguna Verde (Green Lagoon), located at the foot of Licancabur Volcano and renowned for its striking emerald-green waters. Continue to Villa Mar for your overnight stay.
Begin your return journey to Uyuni, travelling through the picturesque highland communities of Alota and Culpina, where you will discover authentic villages and traditional landscapes.
Visit San Cristóbal, a historic village renowned for its beautiful colonial church, declared a Cultural Heritage of Bolivia and considered one of the oldest churches in the Bolivian Altiplano.
