Travel through ancient highland communities, dramatic valleys, volcanic landscapes, colourful lagoons, and vast desert scenery before reaching the legendary Uyuni Salt Flats.
Your journey culminates with a traditional Andean Apthapi lunch in the middle of the Salar, followed by a spectacular sunset accompanied by wine and snacks. Your final night is spent at the iconic Palacio de Sal, one of the world’s most renowned salt hotels.
This is more than a visit to the Uyuni Salt Flats. It is a complete journey through one of the most spectacular and remote regions of Bolivia.
At the scheduled time, meet and greet in Uyuni, either at the airport, bus station, or your hotel.
At 10:00 a.m., depart for the village of Villamar, visiting the Train Cemetery, where you will see the remains of 19th- and 20th-century locomotives.
Visit the Church of San Cristóbal and the villages of Culpina K and Alota, as well as the Valley of the Rocks, famous for its impressive rock formations sculpted by wind erosion.
Continue with visits to Catal and Vinto Lagoons and the rock formation known as Italia Perdida. Arrive in the village of Villamar and visit the rock paintings and the archaeological necropolis fortress of Tomas Lakhas.

Overnight: Hotel Mallku Cueva, Villamar
Depart for Laguna Colorada (Red Lagoon) and explore the surrounding area, where you will have the opportunity to observe the famous James’s Flamingos, unique to this region, as well as perennial ice formations and the Sol de Mañana Geysers.
Continue through Chalviri Lagoon and its hot springs, followed by the spectacular Dalí Valley.
Then continue to Laguna Verde (Green Lagoon), where you can admire its impressive emerald-green colour and enjoy magnificent views of Licancabur Volcano. Return to the village of Villamar at the appropriate time.

Depart towards the Great Uyuni Salt Flat. On the way, visit the village of Colchani, where you will see a small artisanal salt-processing facility. Enter the salt flat, visiting the natural springs and observing the traditional salt extraction process.
Continue to Incahuasi Island, also known as Isla Pescado, where you can admire the famous giant cacti.
A traditional Andean Apthapi lunch, a communal way of sharing food, will be served in the middle of the Great Salt Flat.
After some time to take perspective photographs and experience the unique energy of the salt flat, head south to enjoy the sunset from the edge of the salt flat, accompanied by a round of wine and snacks.
At the end of the day, continue to the iconic Palacio de Sal for an unforgettable overnight experience.
