Overview

About This Tour

The Pantanal Just Jaguar Safari is a focused, four-day expedition into the North Pantanal — widely regarded as one of the best places on the planet to observe the Jaguar in its natural habitat. Departing from Cuiabá, the route follows the legendary Transpantaneira Road deep into the wetlands, reaching a lodge positioned at the heart of jaguar territory.

From the lodge, daily boat-based safaris along the rivers and channels of the North Pantanal target the Jaguar alongside Anacondas, Tapirs, Giant Otters, Capybaras and an exceptional density of birdlife, including the iconic Hyacinth Macaw. This itinerary is designed for travelers whose priority is maximizing time on the water and in the field, with a flexible safari schedule built around wildlife activity.

Like its South Pantanal counterpart, this tour pairs naturally with a broader Bolivia wildlife itinerary, offering an easy cross-border extension for travelers exploring Bolivia’s National Parks and reserves.
